Your Frequently Asked Questions
Some questions that may arise for your loved ones.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can call us or stay in touch with us via social media.
Are inflatable tents durable enough? Don't they tear or puncture?
Inflatable tents are manufactured with reinforced PVC or TPU multi-layer fabrics that are highly resistant to stretching, wind and moisture.
If used properly, their useful life is between 5 and 10 years.
In addition, in all models, sensitive parts (such as seams and connections) are heat-welded or industrially sewn to prevent air leakage. If minor damage occurs, it can be repaired in less than 10 minutes with the instant repair kit that comes with the product.
How long does it take to set up and assemble an inflatable tent?
Unlike structural or metal tents, inflatable models can be set up in just 3 to 5 minutes with an electric or manual pump.
No tools or skilled labor are required.
At the end of use, simply open the valve needle to deflate the air and pack the tent into a small carrying bag.
For exhibitions, events or mobile camps, this speed of set-up is a real advantage in emergency situations.
Why are inflatable tents more expensive than regular tents?
Inflatable tents differ from regular tents in terms of design and materials. The main body is made of industrial fabrics with anti-UV and fire-retardant coatings, and the inflatable structure requires precise molding and specialized welding.
As a result, the initial price is higher, but since they do not require a metal frame and installation force, their maintenance and moving costs are much lower in the long run. In fact, these tents are for those who are looking for high durability and fast installation, not just the lowest price.
Tent capacity standards
To estimate the capacity of relief tents or temporary shelters, international standards or guidelines from humanitarian organizations such as UNHCR, IFRC, or the Sphere Project are usually used.
Common standards for calculating the capacity of emergency shelter tents
Sphere Standard (Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards)
Minimum shelter space per sleeping person:
3.5 to 4.5 square meters in emergency situations
(In more stable situations, up to 5 square meters is recommended)
Sitting or gathering space (meeting, treatment, waiting):
About 1.2 to 1.5 square meters per person
UNHCR and IFRC standards
For family or group tents, tents with an area of 40 square meters are usually designed for 5 to 8 small families or 20 sleeping people.
Conclusion for example (40 meter tent)
According to the Sphere standard
– Sleeping accommodation:
If we consider about 2 square meters per person (in a compact layout),
→ Capacity: about 20 sleeping people
– Sitting (meeting, treatment, waiting):
If we consider about 1.3 square meters per person,
→ Capacity: about 30 people sitting
These numbers are completely reasonable and defensible with the rectangular design, appropriate height, and lack of bulky equipment inside the tent.
